Q: How do I know which mod kit to purchase?

A. First, you'll need to determine whether you have a vertical screen or a horizontal screen arcade. If you have a vertical screen arcade, make sure to purchase the vertical mod kit. If you have a horizontal screen, you then need to determine if you have a 1, 2 or 4 player game, and purchase the proper kit accordingly.

Before you check out, please include the model number located behind your arcade monitor and the specific arcade you are trying to mod in the "Order special instructions" section of your cart. The back panel will have to be removed to obtain the model number. This is important and ensures that we send you the proper kit compatible with your arcade. 

Q: Are your kits easy to install for beginners?

A: Absolutely! All of our kits come with detailed instructions on our YouTube channel which offer step-by-step guides to assist beginners.  We believe it is currently the easiest and fastest method. Only a screwdriver is needed.

Q: What is the difference between a vertical and horizontal screen arcade?

A: In arcade gaming, a vertical screen is taller than it is wide, typically used for games like "Pac-Man" and "Donkey Kong," which require more vertical space for gameplay. A horizontal screen is wider than it is tall, commonly used for games such as "Street Fighter" and "Golden Axe," which benefit from a broader field of view.

Q: Do you offer technical support for installation?

A: Yes, we offer comprehensive technical support to help you install and configure your arcade parts. Our support team is available via email or you can write us a message in the “Contact Us” page and we will give you a call!

Q: Can you help me troubleshoot issues with my arcade system?

Q: What should I do if I have trouble following the video tutorials?

A: If you have trouble following our video tutorials, please reach out to our support team. We can provide additional guidance or clarify any steps you find confusing.

Q: What types of games are included on the Mini PCs and Raspberry Pis you sell?

A: Our Mini PCs and Raspberry Pis come pre-loaded with a variety of classic arcade and retro games. Check out the Mini PC and Raspberry Pi Games page for the list of games and for more information.

Q: Can I add more games to the Mini PC or Raspberry Pi?

A: Considering that the majority of all popular games already come pre-loaded, it is recommended that you do not alter any hard drives or SD cards as we will not be able to stand by our products.

Q: Do games automatically save the previous high score?

A: Yes, they do save the highest score.

Q: Are your arcade parts compatible with all arcade systems?

A: While our parts may be compatible with many popular systems, we are currently focusing on A1Up Arcades, but it's always best to check the product description for compatibility details or contact our support team for specific inquiries.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A:  We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Google Pay and Amazon Pay.

Q: How can I track my order?

 A: Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your order on our website or the carrier’s website.

Q: How long does shipping take?

A: We provide lightning fast handling times. We typically prepare and ship your order out within 48 business hours of receiving your order. However, delivery times vary depending on the carrier and your location. 

Q: Can I expedite my shipping?

A: Yes, expedited shipping options are available at checkout for an additional fee.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We do not offer any returns on software based products such as a Mini PC or a Raspberry Pi.  This also includes any package or kit that includes either a Mini PC or a Raspberry Pi.  However, we are happy to accept returns within a 14 day period from the date of delivery on all other products.

Q: What should I do if I receive a damaged item?

A: We thoroughly test our products before packaging and we package all of our products safely, with shipment in mind, but if you receive a damaged item, please contact our support team immediately. We will arrange for a replacement when the product is returned.

Q: Do you offer international shipping?

A: We are happy to announce that due to popular demand, we have just made our products available to Canada and the UK. We are working on expanding shipping to more of our international customers in the near future! Subscribe to our email list to be the first to know when shipping becomes available to more international regions. 

Q: Is your power strip US plug only?

A: Currently, the only international shipping we offer is Canada and UK. For the UK, we provide one adapter for the power strip that converts it from US to UK, which plugs directly to the wall. The power strip will have several slots that are US only. The raspberry pi power supply will be US and will be able to plug into one of these several slots. However, your factory A1up power supply will need to be plugged directly into your wall or you will need to get a separate adapter to plug into the US power strip.
