Volume Control Cable

This unique, custom-designed cable is machine-made and hand-finished for flawless quality. It connects to the factory Arcade1Up and Basic Fun volume slider switch and plugs directly into most HDMI converters, allowing you to control the volume level of your modded arcade.

Simply connect one end of the cable to the original Arcade1Up/BasicFun factory volume slider switch with the connector, and plug the other end into the HDMI converter. Please note that this cable only controls the volume level and works best when paired with amplified audio. Check out our other listings for simple plug-and-play amplification cables.

If you have additional amplified audio devices like amps, soundbars, or speakers, this cable will still control the volume as long as those devices are connected to the HDMI converter and not directly to the computer source.

This cable works with Arcade1up and BasicFun volume switches, including Gen 1, Gen 2, and newer versions, even on latch-switch volume controls. It’s the perfect solution for anyone wanting easy, adjustable volume control!

THE CLASSIC SE ARCADE1UP LINE USES A DIFFERENT HDMI CONVERTER WHICH WILL NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS CABLE. IT IS THE ONLY KNOWN HDMI CONVERTER NOT COMPATIBLE.

Note: Our specialty audio cables work perfectly with Raspberry Pi setups. Some mini PCs, however, may have trouble sending audio through HDMI to the LCD converter board. If this happens, use an HDMI-to-DVI cable (HDMI into the mini PC, DVI into the converter board) and run an aux cable from the PC to the converter board. Use the left aux port on the bottom right of the board. Our cables will still function normally with this setup.
